Abdul Mannan Mallick
SANTHIA, PABNA: Abdul Mannan Mallick, father of Assistant Librarian of Jorgachha Degree College Masuda Khatun and a resident of Santhia Bazar area in the upazila of the district, died of old-age complications at his residence at 7:15 am on Sunday. He was 78.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held on Santhia Jamatia Hafizia Madrasa ground after Asr prayers on Sunday.
Later on, he was buried at the local graveyard. Abdul Mannan left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter, grandchildren and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
FF Mohammad Abdullah
KAMALNAGAR, LAXMIPUR: Freedom Fighter (FF) Mohammad Abdullah of Char Jagabandhu area in Kamalnagar Upazila of the district died on old-age complications at dawn on Saturday. He was 80.
He was given guard of honour in the area on Saturday afternoon. Later on, he was buried at his family graveyard following a Namaz-e-Janaza.
FF Mohammad Abdullah left behind his wife, three sons, one daughter and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
Kamalnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Suchitra Ranjan Das, former commander of Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Md Abu Taher, Shafiq Uddin, and Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee General Secretary FF Abunur Selim expressed deep grief and condolences to the bereaved family.
