Indian HC called to Foreign Office to discuss recent border issues

Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Pranay Verma, to discuss recent border-related issues, particularly addressing escalating tensions along the India-Bangladesh border.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh summoned the Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka, Pranay Verma, following India's attempt to install a barbed wire fence along the border with Bangladesh.

The India-Bangladesh border, one of the longest international borders in the world, has often been a point of contention, with incidents ranging from border security issues to the movement of people.
