Train derails in Rajshahi, rail communication suspended

A coach of the Chilahati-bound Titumir Express derailed in Rajshahi on Monday. It disrupted rail communication with Rajshahi across the country.

The accident took place around 6:30 pm in Belpukur area of Puthia.

Railway staff are working to recover the derailed coach.

Western Railway Assistant Engineer Abdur Rashid confirmed the news and said that railway workers are working to rescue the train. Train services will be restored very soon.
