BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who has been undergoing treatment at the London Clinic, can now walk on her own.
"The BNP chief's physical condition is improving rapidly. She walked on her own today. She is being given regular physiotherapy at the hospital," Khaleda Zia' adviser Enamul Haque, who accompanied her in London, informed the development to media on Sunday.
Besides, nephrologists, cardiologists and intensivists are also observing her. Her condition is now more stable than before, Enamul Haque added.
He said Khaleda Zia is asking about the country's present condition.
AZM Zahid Hossain, the party standing committee member and Khaleda's personal physician, said, "Khaleda Zia was also given physiotherapy today. Now can say that her health is improving.
