The Sylhet phase of the running BPL is ending Monday. Sylhet Strikers will face Chittagong Kings in the first match of the last day. As such, Sylhet's last match at home is also today.

Sylhet was expected to do well at home. They had 5 matches in this phase with the aim of a large attendance of local fans. However, Ariful Haque's team did not achieve all the success expected. Again, the hosts did not perform badly. Sylhet has won 2 of the last 4 matches.
Sylhet won the toss at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium today. Captain Ariful won the toss and decided to bowl. He invited Chittagong Kings captain Mohammad Mithun to bat.
