The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has directed the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to conduct the examination of voice recordings of Sheikh Hasina and others at its forensic laboratory.

The three-member bench, led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumder, issued this order on Monday.

During briefing prosecutor BM Sultan Mahmud said, "The tribunal ordered to verify the authenticity  of important call recordings of Sheikh Hasina and others, involved in the July-August genocide."
Prosecutors Tanvir Hasan Zoha and Sultan Mahmud have expressed concerns over alleged non-cooperation from relevant authorities in presenting these critical pieces of evidence to the tribunal.
