Banker dies in Bogura road accident

A man was killed as his motorcycle collided head-on with a human hauler in Vuskur Bazaar area under Nandigram upazila of the district Monday morning.

The dead Mizanur Rahman, 38, son of Mehedi Hasan, a resident of Dariapur village of the upazila, was an employee of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) at Kahalu Branch.
The accident occurred on the Nandigram-Deugram road around 9.30 am when Mizanur was going to his office riding on the motorcycle, said Tarikul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Nandigram Police Station, reports BSS.

Critically injured Mizanur was taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, the OC added.
