Man killed in Laxmipur road accident

A man was killed after a tractor hit him at Kamalnagar upazila in Laxmipur district on Monday noon.

The accident took place at 12 noon on the lakshmipur-Ramgati road in Karoitala Bazar area under the upazila.

The deceased was identified as M Miraj Hossain, 22, son of Azad Uddin, a resident of Luthua village under Charfalkon union in the upazila.

Touhidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kamalnagar police station, confirmed the matter.

The tractor has been seized but its driver fled away, the OC added.
