Body of missing man found in Patuakhali

Police recovered the body of man, who had been missing for the last 10 days, from the Tetulia river at Bauful upazila in Patuakhali district on Tuesday morning.

The body was recovered from Mathbaria area under Dhulia union in the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Shamal Chandra Day, 55, hailed from Barishal district. He had been missing for the last 10 days. 

On Tuesday morning, locals spotted his floating body in the river and informed the police. 
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to a hospital. 

Tariqul Islam, in-charge of Kalaya River Police Outpost, confirmed the matter.
