ACC files 4 cases over Hasina’s APS Liku’s Tk 150cr transactions

 
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed four separate cases on Monday against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Assistant Private Secretary-2 Gazi Hafizur Rahman Liku accusing him of suspicious transactions worth Tk 150 crore.

The ACC's Deputy Director Md Ahsanur Kabir Palash filed two cases as plaintiff, Assistant Director Md Rakibul Hayat filed one case while Deputy Assistant Director Md Manjurul Islama Mintu filed another one case as plaintiff at the ACC's Integrated District Office in Dhaka-1.
ACC Deputy Director Akhtarul Islam confirmed to the media about the matter on Monday. 

According to the ACC, 15 people including Liku's wife, brother, sister-in-law and caretaker have been named as accused in the case. 

According to the complaint, Liku and his relatives and others involved in the cases have been accused of suspicious transactions worth around Tk 1.5 billion. They have also been accused of acquiring undeclared assets worth Tk 385.7 million.
