Schoolboy dies in Jhenidah accident

A student died in a motorcycle accident in Jhenidah's Maheshpur on Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred around 9 am in front of Maheshpur Upazila Health Complex.
The dead Naeem Islam, 14, son of Rafiqul Islam, assistant professor of the History Department of Maheshpur Government Degree College of Bhalaipur village of the upazila. He was a ninth grader at Maheshpur Government Pilot Secondary School.

Locals said that when a motorcycle coming from the direction of Bhilpur reached the hospital at a high speed, it lost control while trying to give way to a private car coming from the other direction and crashed into a tree. Naim died on the spot.

Maheshpur Police Station OC Faiz Uddin confirmed it.
