A readymade garment (RMG) worker was allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants while returning home from work on Tuesday night
The deceased, Saikat, 19, a resident of Haorakhali village in Sariakandi upazila of Bogura district, was a quality inspector at MHEC Apparel Factory.
Joynal Abedin Mondal, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sreepur Model Police Station, said that miscreants attacked Saikat with sharp weapons near CRC Textiles at Bhangnahati village at around 10PM, leaving him critically injured.
Saikat was taken to Sreepur Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared him dead. The body has been sent to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for an autopsy, he added.
The OC said that police arrested Mahmud Aminur, 20, as Saikat had an previous enmity. Detailed could be tell after investigations.
