500kg jatka seized in Chandpur

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) seized 500 kilograms of jatka from the Meghna River in Haimchar Upazila of Chandpur on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the BCG conducted a drive in the river and seized the jatka from Charbhairabi area in the upazila at around 6 am.

The seized fishes were distributed to orphanages, madrasa and poor people.
