2 killed as three-wheeler overturns in Mongla

Two people were killed and four others injured when a shallow engine-powered three-wheeler overturned in Bagerhat's Mongla early Thursday.

The accident took place around 1:30 in at Chapra of Mongla.
The dead were three-wheeler driver Didar Molla, 25, hailed from Khulna's Dakop upazila, and Rokon Uddin Khokon, 60, of Sonailtala, Mongla.

It was reported that that the vehicle overturned around 1:30 am on in that area while they were returning home from Khulna's Loudob after harvesting paddy. The driver Didar Molla died on the spot. Rokon Uddin later died on the way to hospital.

Mongla Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anisur Rahman confirmed the news.
