2 brick kilns fined in Satkhira

Two illegal brick kilns were fined Tk 1.5 lakh during a mobile court conducted by the upazila administration for manufacturing bricks illegally at Shyamnagar upazila in Satkhira district on Thursday.

The mobile court was conducted by executive magistrate and upazila assistant commissioner (Land) Abdullah Al Rifat in Ismailpur area of the upazila, and fines were imposed on Haque Bricks and MB Bricks.

Assistant director of Satkhira Department of Environment Sardar Shariful Islam and other officials were present.
