One held in city over attack on students

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a youth in a murder case over attacking an anti-discrimination students rally from the city's Keraniganj Police Station on Wednesday.

The arrested man is Md. Sajjad Hossain,24.

The information was provided through a press release by RAB.

Sajjad was arrested from Gatarchar area in the police station, it said.

He is accused of Akter Hossain murder case.

Akter Hossain was killed by Awami League men during a protest rally on July 19, 2024.
