Youth dies after being hit by covered van in Shanir Akhra

A youth was killed after a covered van crashed him in front of Sanir Akhra Petrol Pump under Jatrabari Police Station in the capital early Thursday.

The deceased was Mohammad Sujon, 30, a staff (helper) of a bus of Green Line Paribahaban.

Inspector Mohammad Faruk, In-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DCH) police outpost, acknowledged the matter and said that the body was sent to DMCH morgue for autopsy.

According to the co-helper of the victim Mohammad Rasel Mia, the covered van hit Sujon from the behind while they were waiting for a bus at the Petrol Pump to return his house at Madanpur in Sonargaon of  Narayanganj at about 12AM.
 
Sujon was taken to DMCH where he succumbed to his injuries at 3AM.
