PIO Shamim Chy hospitalized

Principal Information Officer (PIO) AKM Shamim Chowdhury has been hospitalized with heart ailments on Thursday night.
He was first admitted to BIRDEM Hospital in the city when he fell sick at night. Later, he was shifted to Apollo Hospital.
His condition has improved after coronary artery stenting, an official release said.
Information Minister Hasanul Huq Inu and Information Secretary Martuza Ahmed wished his early recovery.
Before assuming the office of PIO, Shamim Chowdhury served as Prime Minister's press secretary and held other important positions.     �BSS
