US embassy releases music video today

The United States (US) Embassy in Bangladesh is releasing a music video today celebrating a milestone of numbers of fans ahead of the New Year 2017. It acknowledges the achievement of four million fans on the embassy's official Facebook page as the highest numbers of Facebook fans for any US Embassy in the world till date. The video "Nache Ey Mon" featuring Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat, singers Pritom Hasan and Tahsan, cricketer Mehedi Hasan Miraz and others will be released on the Facebook page. The whole video will be shared on the Facebook page today.
The video has been filmed in and around Dhaka.  A preview of the video was launched on the popular Bangladeshi TV show Ittyadi yesterday, to be aired on Bangladesh Television (BTV).  Ambassador shared her thoughts on this great achievement for the Ittyadi audience.
 "We wanted to say thank you to all our Facebook friends with a video that conveys the vitality of the U.S.-Bangladeshi friendship," said Ambassador Bernicat. "We hope Bangladeshis enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed filming it."
