New logo of Bangladesh Police unveiled

The new logo of Bangladesh Police has been released. The information was given in a letter signed by Additional DIG (Logistics) of Police Headquarters Nasima Begum on Thursday.

The letter said that the new logo has been finalized as part of the implementation of the decision to change the current monogram or logo of Bangladesh Police. It has already received the approval of the authorities. Now it is just waiting for the issuance of a notification.

The sailing boat in the current logo of the Bangladesh Police is being dropped. In its place are the country's national flower, water lily, rice and wheat ears, and jute leaves. The jute leaves have the inscription "Police."

The letter also states that the new logo will be mandatory in all districts and units of the police force immediately after the notification is issued. As part of this, preparations have been made to ensure the use of the new logo on all related materials including uniforms, flags, signboards, etc.
