With the spirit of martial artistry and national pride in full bloom, the Bangladesh Wushu Federation (BWF) is all set to host the National Wushu Competition 2025, to be held from 23 to 27 July at the Mirpur Indoor Stadium, Dhaka.

The five-day tournament promises to be a spectacle of strength, discipline, and grace, as athletes from across the country prepare to lock horns in pursuit of glory.

As said the organisers, distinguished guests, including the Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh and the Youth and Sports Adviser to the Government, are expected to attend, lending diplomatic gravitas and government care to the occasion,
In a move that sets the tone for professionalism and long-term vision, the Federation will precede the main event with a three-day Coaches' Training Programme from 1 to 3 July, to be held at the Capt Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium, nestled beside the historic Paltan Ground in Dhaka.

Shifu Dildar Hasan Dilu, the founding General Secretary of BWF and a pioneer in Bangladesh's Wushu movement, articulated the Federation's vision: "Our aim is not merely to hold a competition but to unearth raw talent for international challenges ahead, including the Islamic Solidarity Games and the South Asian Games. We are hopeful that this national meet will be the cradle of future champions."

In preparation, a Judges' Training Course has already been conducted to ensure that officiating meets global standards. "With the judges updated and the coaches trained, we are in a strong position to deliver a competition that is not only fair but fiercely competitive," said Shifu Dilu.

Indeed, the stage is set, the stakes are high, and the national spotlight will soon turn to Dhaka, where Wushu warriors shall write their tales in sweat and steel.
