Bangladesh to take on India Friday in SAFF U-17 Championship

After a magnificent victory over host Bhutan in the first match, motivated Bangladesh U-17 women's football team face strong India in the big match of the four-nation SAFF U-17 Women's Championship scheduled to be held at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu on Friday.

The match kicks off at 6 PM (BST).

The team’s assistant coach, Abul Hossain said through a video message on Thursday that the girls skipped the field training and went through a recovery session.

They are focusing on the India match, and the girls are determined not to repeat the same mistakes they did in the last match against Bhutan, he added.

Bangladesh will play their third match of the tournament against Nepal on August 24 at the same venue.
