Bangladesh's Asia Cup Hockey campaign to start today

Bangladesh national men's hockey team will start their eight-team Men's Asia Cup Hockey 2025 campaign, when they face strong Malaysia in one of the opening pool B matches scheduled to be held at Bihar Sports University Hockey Stadium in Rajgir, India today (Friday).

The match kicks off at 9.30 am Bangladesh time. Defending champions South Korea meet Chinese Taipei in the day's another pool B match at 11.30 am at the same venue.

Bangladesh will face Chinese Taipei on Saturday, Aug 30, and record five-time champions South Korea on September 1 in their remaining group phase engagements. All the matches will be held at the same venue.

Goalkeepers: Biplob Kujur and Nuruzzaman Noyon.

Defenders: Mohammad Ashraful Islam, Rezaul Karim Babu, Forhad Ahmed Situl, Sohanur Rahman Sabuj, Hozzaifa Hossain, Amirul Islam, and Mohammad Mehedi Hasan.

Midfielders: Mohammad Roman Sarkar, Mohammad Fazle Hossain Rabbi, Al Nahiyan Shuvo, Taiyeb Ali and Tanvir Rahman Siam.

Forwards: Obaidul Hossain Joy, Mohammad Rakibul Hasan, Mohammad Arshad Hossain and Mohammad Abdullah.
