BUET admission circular published for 2025–26 session

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has published admission circular for the 2025–26 academic session, announcing that the online application process will begin on November 16 and continue until December 2. 

Applicants will be able to pay the application fee until December 4.

According to the admission notice issued on Monday, BUET admission test will be held on January 10, 2026, in two shifts; morning and afternoon, under Module ‘A’ and Module ‘B’ categories.

This year, there will be no preliminary screening test. Candidates will be selected solely based on their performance in the written examination, followed by an oral test as in previous years.

The application fee has been set at Tk 1,300 for candidates applying to Engineering and Urban and Regional Planning (URP) departments under Module ‘A’ and Tk 1,500 for those applying to Architecture department under Module ‘B.’

The list of selected and waiting candidates, along with the merit order, is expected to be published on February 7, 2026.
