BKSP hosts seminar on advancing football, cricket development

A seminar focusing on the development, challenges and future strategies of football and cricket in the country was held on Sunday at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP). 

Chaired by BKSP Director General Brigadier General Md. Munirul Islam, the seminar brought together representatives from Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), along with prominent former footballers and cricketers, club officials, coaches and sports journalists.

Speakers at the event discussed the history, traditions, existing limitations and improvement pathways for the country’s two most popular sports. 

They emphasized that with proper planning and coordinated development efforts, Bangladesh can achieve greater success in football and cricket at international level.

The organisers expressed optimism that such discussions would help pave the way for progress across all tiers of the sports sector and contribute significantly to country’s future achievements on the world stage.
