The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20’s 12th edition has undergone another schedule change, pushing the tournament start further back.

Initially announced to begin on 19 December, the league was later rescheduled for 26 December. According to the latest fixture, the tournament will now kick off in Sylhet and conclude on 23 January.

The opening phase of the BPL will be held at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, followed by the Chattogram phase. The final phase of the tournament will take place in Dhaka.

A total of six teams will compete in this year’s tournament, with Noakhali Express joining as the newest franchise.

Over 500 foreign cricketers had registered for the BPL players’ draft, from which the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) shortlisted 250. The draft will be held on 30 November at 3 PM.

Before the league begins, an inaugural ceremony will be held in Dhaka on 24 December.
