International Anti-Corruption Day observed in Panchagarh

International Anti-Corruption Day was observed in Panchagarh on Tuesday under the theme “Youth united against corruption: building a cleaner future”, aimed at raising awareness about corruption prevention and promoting ethical governance.

The program, held at the district collectorate premises, included flag hoisting, a human chain, a colourful rally and a discussion session, and was jointly organised by the Integrated Office of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in Thakurgaon, the District Administration and the District Corruption Prevention Committee.

The rally began at the collectorate, traversed the main roads of Panchagarh town and concluded at the same venue.

A discussion meeting was later held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office, chaired by District Corruption Prevention Committee President Dr Khaled Touhid Pulok.

Deputy Commissioner Kazi Md Sayemuzzaman, Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Rabiul Islam and ACC Thakurgaon Integrated Office Assistant Director Azmir Sharif Marji addressed the event.
