Tentulia, the northernmost upazila of Panchagarh district, experienced a slight rise in temperature on Friday, reaching 9.3°C after dipping to the season's lowest of 8.9°C. Despite the small increase, residents continue to face sharp contrasts between chilly mornings and comparatively warmer afternoons.

Meteorologists warned that such fluctuations may make daily life more uncomfortable in the coming days.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Teknaf, southeast Bangladesh, at 30.8°C, underlining a stark north-south variation in weather conditions.

The BMD's 9:00am forecast predicted generally dry conditions with partly cloudy skies across most regions over the next 24 hours. Light fog may form in some areas during early morning hours. Night temperatures may drop slightly, while daytime highs are expected to remain largely unchanged.
