Three candidates collect nomination papers in Rajbari-1,2

RAJBARI, Dec 20: A total of three nomination papers have been collected for two parliamentary constituencies in the district on  Thursday. 

According to sources at the Rajbari District Returning Officer's office, two candidates collected papers for the Rajbari-1 constituency. 

They are Ali Newas Mahmood Khoium of the BNP and Advocate Nurul Islam of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

In the Rajbari-2 constituency, Md. Harunur Rashid of Jamaat-e-Islami collected his nomination paper.

District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Sultana Akter confirmed the news.
