GST (General, Science and Technology) application deadline for admission into the 19 universities participating in the cluster system has been extended by six days.
The deadline was set for Wednesday (24 December), marking the end of the application period that began on 10 December 2025.
An official notice was issued signed by the Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia, Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah, convener of the GST cluster admission system core committee, and Acting Registrar of the university Professor Dr Manjurul Haque, secretary of the committee, confirmed this extension.
According to the notices, today (Wednesday) was the last day to apply. However, considering the students', the application deadline has been extended by six days, and the application will end at 12:00 AM on 30 December 2025.”
Meanwhile, C Unit (Commerce) Faculty exam will be held on 27 March 2026, B Unit (Humanities) Faculty exam on 3 April and A Unit (Science) Faculty exam on 10 April 2026.
Those 19 universities included in the cluster are: Islamic University, Kushtia, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Jashore Science and Technology University, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Begum Rokeya University, Gopalganj Science and Technology University, Barishal University, Rangamati Science and Technology University, Rabindra University, Sirajganj, University of Frontier Technology, Bangladesh, Netrokona University, Jamalpur Science and Technology University, Chandpur Science and Technology University, Kishoreganj University, Sunamgonj Science and Technology University and Pirojpur Science and Technology University.
