The government has appointed Omar Bin Hadi, elder brother of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Bin Hadi, as Second Secretary at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

The appointment, announced on 15 January, 2026, is on a contractual basis for a three-year term.
