Sk Kabir laid to rest

GOPALGANJ, Feb 15: Sheikh Kabir Hossain, former president of the Bangladesh Insurance Association, was laid to rest with state honours at his family graveyard on Sunday afternoon. He passed away on Saturday at the age of 84.

He breathed his last at around 11:00am while undergoing treatment at Square Hospital in Dhaka.

Earlier, his body was taken to the campus of Khan Shaheb Sheikh Mosharraf Hossain High School and College in Tungipara, Gopalganj, where the local administration accorded him a state guard of honour.
