Govt employees instructed to ensure timely attendance, departure

The Cabinet Division has directed officials and employees of government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions to ensure timely attendance and departure at offices.

On Tuesday (February 24), the Cabinet Division sent a directive letter to senior secretaries and secretaries of all ministries and divisions, as well as to divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners, instructing them to implement the order.

All officials and employees of field-level offices must obtain prior approval from the appropriate authority before leaving their respective workplaces on weekly or other holidays.
