Bangladesh Equestrian Association (BEA) said in a press release that its ambitions received a timely boost following a meeting between the Bangladesh Equestrian Association and State Minister for Youth and Sports, Md Aminul Haque, recently at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The Association said that the State Minister assured full government support to strengthen the nation's presence in both domestic and international equestrian arenas. He also issued directives aimed at accelerating the activities of the Association, signalling renewed official interest in the discipline.

A key point of discussion was the need for an international-standard equestrian field. The Association formally requested such a facility, highlighting its importance in building a strong foundation for growth and competitive participation.

At present, training activities remain fragmented, taking place across various private institutions. The meeting emphasised the importance of bringing these efforts under a structured and coordinated framework, a move considered vital for long-term development.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to working together to advance equestrian sport in Bangladesh, with hopes that this collaboration will mark a significant step forward for the discipline.
