BOA president, secretary general greet badminton team

Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) President and Army Chief Waker-Uz-Zaman and its Secretary General Jubaidur Rahman Rana greeted players, coaches and officials of the Bangladesh Junior Badminton Team for winning gold in Badminton Asia-South Asia Regional Junior Badminton Championship held in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The two Bangladeshi shutllers-- Md. Nazmul Islam Joy and SSM Sifatullah Ghalib-- won the gold medal in the Under-23 men's doubles event of Asia-South Asia Regional Junior Badminton Championship.

In a BOA press release on Wednesday reads that this victory has opened a new horizon for badminton in Bangladesh.
