Aminul off to Turkey to join OIC Youth Capital

State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque left for Turkey on Sunday morning to attend the inauguration of Konya OIC Youth Capital 2026 in Konya, alongside a series of official bilateral engagements.

During the visit, the State Minister is scheduled to hold talks with the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, focusing on youth development, sports infrastructure expansion and training exchange programmes between the two countries.

He is also expected to meet officials of the Turkish Football Federation to discuss strengthening sports cooperation and exploring Turkey’s experience and technical support in developing football in Bangladesh.

In addition, Aminul Haque will hold discussions with the President of the World Ethnosport Union, which promotes traditional sports and cultural sporting exchanges worldwide.

The State Minister is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on representatives of Turkey’s ruling political party during his visit.

According to officials, he is expected to return to Bangladesh on May 14 after completing his programme.
