RUB gets new vice-chancellor

SIRAJGANJ, June 9: Professor of the Institute of Social Welfare and Research, University of Dhaka, Tahmina Akhter has been appointed new Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra University, Bangladesh (RUB), located in Shahjadpur Upazila of the district  with the approval of the President.

The notification was issued on Monday by the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education under the order of the President and signed by Assistant Secretary Md Sultan Ahmed. 

The term of his appointment as VC will be four years.  She will be present on the university campus round the clock as the Chief Executive Officer of the university.
