Alibaba.com appoints Springfield Corporation as authorized channel partner in BD

Alibaba.com, one of the world's leading B2B e-commerce platforms under Alibaba International, has officially appointed Springfield Corporation as its Authorized Channel Partner in Bangladesh. 

Through this strategic partnership, Springfield Corporation will support Bangladeshi manufacturers, exporters, suppliers, and traders in accessing global markets through Alibaba.com's extensive digital marketplace, which connects businesses across nearly 200 countries and regions.

The collaboration will initially focus on the textile and apparel industry before expanding into jute, leather, handicrafts, light engineering, and other promising export sectors, says a press release. 

The signing ceremony was attended by Vania, Senior Specialist, Channel Operation �" Global Business Development Department, GP&GSP, Alibaba.com; Sonobar Maira, Channel Manager, Bangladesh �" Global Business Development Department, Domestic Channel, Alibaba.com; Md. Faizul Alam, Managing Director of Springfield Corporation; Shaan Shahed, Executive Director of Springfield Corporation; and Umma Rokeya Nisha, Head of Business (Dhaka), Springfield Corporation, along with other senior officials from both organizations.

The partnership is expected to play a significant role in strengthening Bangladesh’s export ecosystem and accelerating the country’s participation in global digital trade.
