ULAB students receives ‘National Hackathon for Women 2017’ award

Students of Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) secured three awards in three different categories in the National Hackathon for Women 2017, says press release.
 Three teams from CSE department participated in National Hackathon for Women 2017 on 10-11th February 2017 at Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) and all the team received awards. ICT Hackathon for Women 2017 is an event for women in which passionate ICT students/professionals participated in a collaborative programming session running over 36 hours. The programme was organized by the Women in Digital, ICT Division in association with Innovation Hub Bangladesh and Dynamic hub. Dr Farhana Sarkar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering were one of the mentors in the event.
In this event, awards were given on 9 categories. The prizes were handed over by the honourable ICT Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak and the founder of Women in digital Achia Khaleda Nila.
