Regent starts flying to Doha, Dammam in April

Regent Airways, a leading private airline of Bangladesh will start flying to two new international spots in Doha of Qatar and Dammam of Saudi Arabia in the next month.
All measures have been completed and the relevant government approvals have already been completed, according to a press release of the airline.
The flights of Regent will operate Dhaka-Doha-Dhaka route for four days in a week and Dhaka -Dammam-Dhaka route for three days in a week with the newly acquired Boeing 737-800 aircraft that can carry 167 passengers, including eight in Business class.
The arrangement of seats and large space of the Boeing 737-800 flight will make the journey comfortable for the passengers, the press release said.
 "The labour market for Bangladeshi workers is expanding in Qatar for upcoming World Cup of 2022. On the other hand, the  labour market for Bangladeshi is turning back now. So, Regent Airways selected the two new international routes regarding the prevailing prosperities there," the press release quoted Regent Airways Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lieutenant General (Retd) M Fazle Akber as saying while describing the prosperity of the said two new international routes.
"Regent Airways started route to Middle East by introducing new flight to the Mascot, the capital of Oman in April last year. We will expand our international routes to Kuwait, Bahrain and Jeddah in the current year, he added.
It may be mentioned that Regent Airways starts its journey on November 2010 and starts the international flights by introducing the Kualalampur flight on July 15 in 2013.
Presently, the Regent Airways is operating five more international flights from Dhaka to Mascot, Kualalampur, Singapore, Bangkok, Kolkata and Chittagong to Bangkok and Kolkata. Besides, the Regent Airways is also operating domestic flights at Dhaka, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar routes now.
Besides, Regent Airways is operating Dubai- Sylhet-Dubai flight with Fly Dubai by Code Share based now.
Presently, Regent Airways is operating 4 Boeing and 2 Dash flights. The low cost of travel, high quality facilities and international standard service of the Regent Airways make it one of the leading airlines in Bangladesh as well as international market.
