Purnima, Chanchal to host National Film Award ceremony

The National Film Award 2015 will be delivered on July 24 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center, Agargaon in the capital. Purnima who won the award before as an actress will host the event alongside another film actor Chanchal Chowdhury. The awards as usual will be handed over by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The awards will be given in twenty-five categories.
The lifetime achievement awards will go to Shabana and Ferdousi Rahman, best films awards will go to Bapjaner Bioscope and Anil Bagchir Ekdin, best director award will also be given to the makers of these two films.
Purnima said to bdnews24 that she is really looking forward to present such a prestigious event. The presence of the Prime Minister herself and other distinguished personalities will certainly make her feel elevated, she hopes she would not get nervous.
