Bangladesh score 260 for all on day one

Australian bowlers came back strongly to forced Bangladesh all out for 260 against Australia on the first day of first Test of Rocket two-match Test series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in the city on Sunday.

Initially it was the Aussie pacers who reduced Bangladesh to10/3 and then courtesy the second-highest fourth-wicket stand in Bangladesh's Test history by Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan saw Tigers recovered well.

After that, the spinners scythed through to clean up the tail rather quickly. This is more than a decent score, but the ball is turning and jumping and it will be interesting how strong Australia finish the day.

Bangladesh 1st innings - 260 for all 78.5 overs, Shakib 84, Tamim 71, Nasir 23, Miraz 18 Mushfiqur 18, Ashton Agar 3/46, Patrick Cummins 3/63 ,Nathan Lyon, 3/79 and Gleen Maxwell 1/15.
