Renovated 'Feluda' series to hit Channel i today

A new television adaptation based on the famous Satyajit Ray character, Detective Feluda, is to launch today at 7.40pm on Channel i. In this series Indian actor- Parambrata Chatterjee will star as Feluda, while Riddhi Sen will act as Topse. The first two episodes of the first season will be aired as part of Channel i's Eid celebration package. The second episode will be aired tomorrow at the same time. The first one has been tilted "Sheyal Debota Rahasya".  Other notable actors of today's episode are Tarik Anam Khan, Dolly Johur, Sherlyn Farzana, Shatabdi Wadud, Rajat Ganguly, Amirul Islam etc.
Kandy Productions and TOM Creations have received the rights to work on Feluda from Satyajit Ray's son, Sandeep Ray. The first season of the series will feature four episodes and the rest of the episodes will be made later in phases. The four stories that the episodes will be based on are Sheyal Debota Rahasya, Ghurghutiyar Ghatona, Golokdham Rahasya, and Gangtokey Gondogol. The series has been renovated to suit modern themes.
The viewers will also be able to watch them in Bioscope digital platform in Bangladesh and in Adda Times from outside Bangladesh, after the TV telecast.
