One dies at RMCH Covid unit

A man died at the Covid-19 unit in Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the past 24 hours till Monday.

Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, director of the hospital, confirmed the matter this morning.

The deceased, a resident of Natore district, was not confirmed as Covid-19 positive but he had the virus symptoms.

Some 42 patients are undergoing treatment in 104-bed Covid unit of the hospital in the last 24 hours, the director added.
