Within three days, another student of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) 'took his own life'.
The deceased was Samiur Rahman, a 17th batch student of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at the university. He was son of Abdur Rahman Sarker of Dhaka's Dhanmondi.
Samiur was found hanging at a residential hall room around 11pm on Saturday night.
The body was, later, sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) morgue.
Being informed, a team of Fire Service recovered the body from the room breaking open the door. They handed over the body to Boalia police.
Primarily, police suspect that Samiur might have committed suicide.
But reason behind his suicide could not be known yet.
Earlier on may 17, Tanvir Ahmed, a 4th year student of Department of Mechanical Engineering at the university, was found hanging with a ceiling fan in his room at Shahid Lt. Selim Hall.
