Dr. Mushtaq nominated for best teacher award

Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed, Associate Professor of Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Rajshahi University (RU), has been nominated for 'Best Teacher Award-2018’ by an Indian institution.

He will be given the prize at the 9th International Conference on Higher Education in Barabanki town of Uttar Pradesh in India on January 27-29. South Asia Management Association and Barabanki Government Munshi Raghunandan Prasad Sardar Patel Women's PG College will organize the conference.

The 'Best Teacher of the Year’ Award-2018’ will be given on the first day of the conference on January 27. The nomination committee said Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed has been selected for the award for his special contribution to various fields of mass communication and journalism.

Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed told The Daily Observer, “They invited me to take the award after assessing my academic profile. It is my pleasure as I have been recognised as the best teacher for 2018. It is a matter of pride for my department as well as for Rajshahi University.”
