BNP leader found dead

Police recovered the body of a local BNP leader in Shimla area in Gopalpur upazila of Tangail on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Aziz, 65, Shimla ward unit BNP president.

Gopalganj Police Station OC Hasan Al Mamun said Abdul Aziz was missing since Saturday night.

Local people spotted the body this morning and informed police.

Being informed, police went to the scene and sent the body to Tangail General Hospital morgue.
