RU TSCC gets new director

Rajshahi : Hasibul Alam, professor of Law Department at Rajshahi University (RU), has been appointed as the new director of Shaheed Sukhranjan Samadder Teacher-Student Cultural Centre (TSCC) of RU.

Prof Alam took charge of office on Thursday morning.

Among others, Professor Julfiqar Ali, convener of progressive teachers’ society, Professor Chowdhury Jakaria of Chemistry dept, Law dept Professor Rafiqul Islam, Economics dept Professor Rezaul Hasan Karim were also present on the occasion.

Teachers, students, cultural activists and TSCC officials congratulated Alam on his appointment.
