Founding anniv of ‘Tarunno 63’ observed at RU

‘Tarunno 63’, an organisation of the students of the 63rd batch (2015-2016 academic year) of the Rajshahi University, observed its founding anniversary on Tuesday at 3:00pm in Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium of the campus.

 

Prof Sadequl Arefin Matin, former student advisor of Rajshahi University and chairman of Social Work department, was the chief guest of the programme, where TMM Nurul Moddasser Chowdhury of Fine Arts faculty and Dr GM Shafiur Rahman of Material Science and Engineering department were present as special guests.

 

Earlier, the inauguration ceremony was held at Shaheed Sukhranjan Samaddar Teachers Students Cultural Centre (TSCC) at 9:00am followed by a colorful rally brought out on the campus.

 

Different cultural events like Gambhira, Adivashi Dance, speech in regional language, parody, debate competition, and a cultural evening was also held on the occasion.
