Bus driver killed in Rajshahi road crash

A bus driver was killed in a road accident in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district on Sunday morning.

Deceased Bilash, a Hanif Enterprise bus driver, son of late Lutfar Rahman, hailed from Khamnaspur village in Gurudaspur Upazila of Natore district.

Godagari Police Station officer in-charge Altaf Hossain said a bus of Hanif Enterprise collided head-on with a bus of Ekota Paribahan on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj highway in Godagari College area around 7:30am, leaving Hanif Enterprise bus driver dead on the spot.

At least 10 people were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to Godagari Upazila Health Complex and Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, the OC added.
